SUBMISSIONS FOR AUCTION SALES
For collectors looking to sell their numismatic collection, Thesaurus is pleased to offer the best solutions for a quick and advantageous sale.
The Thesaurus team is available to appraise items for auction inclusion, whether it’s a single coin or an entire collection.
For an initial evaluation of the items to be auctioned, you may also send images for a preliminary review before arranging an in-person inspection.
Once the submission is agreed upon, a Consignment Agreement will be signed in duplicate. This document will include a detailed description of the individual lots as well as the Reserve Price, which is the minimum price below which the items will not be sold..
To determine the Reserve Price, it is customary for the consignor to indicate their desired sale amount, which is then assessed together with our experts, taking market trends into account. The Reserve Price is strictly confidential and will never be disclosed by the auctioneer or the staff of Thesaurus S.r.l.
The commission percentage due to Thesaurus is determined based on the type of material submitted and is calculated on the hammer price. This commission is payable only in the event of a successful sale.
Payments will be made within 60 days from the auction date, preferably via bank transfer. Our auctions are held periodically in the Republic of San Marino, with bidding taking place in person and/or online, live through international platforms.
